Shana McLoud, The Hue Lifestyle

If there is one thing that I absolutely love about Shana McLoud (and there are many!), it’s that she refuses to be defined by just being a hairstylist.

Shana is a YouTuber, educator, writer, clean beauty advocate, encourager for other hairstylist’s, and owner at Salon Hue in Cary, North Carolina.

Shana McLoud is the owner of Salon Hue in Cary, NC. On this episode, Shana talks ways in which she's redfined herself as a hairstylist, how she cultivates community in a highly competitive industry, her thoughts on creating the best client experience, and so much more. Listen wherever you digest your favorite podcasts by searching The Girl Inspired Project.

She has a real, true passion for giving her client’s the best possible experience while also pouring her heart into helping other women who want to go out on their own as a studio salon owner by providing education, support, and empowerment.

I truly believe that Shana challenges what it means to do hair by always asking herself how she can do more for her clients, help others, as well as how can she further grow and expand in her business. You can be a hairstylist and a mogul apparently.

Alicia Carlucci, Friends Of Wake County Animal Center

You’ll hear me say again and again that I love to volunteer. Volunteering has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

I’ve been working with them for more than a year and am absolutely amazed at how dedicated they are to their mission of improving the quality of lives for animals in Wake County. The FWCAC has been changing the plight of homeless animals in Wake County since 2012, and let me tell you, dear friends, they are doing BIG THINGS.

You’ll just have to listen to the full episode to get the scoop on who they are, what they do, and how they help homeless animals in need in Wake County, North Carolina.

Samantha Ray, LULA Hair + Makeup

To be honest, this interview has to go down in the history books, because even when I listen back weeks later, it just gives me so much life.

I shook my head in agreement through this entire episode and my heart swelled with pride to have my dear friend, Samantha Ray, of LULA Hair + Makeup on the podcast.

This episode is not just for business owners. This episode is a celebration of women. For women. By women. And all of the things we endure in this crazy, modern world (except motherhood, perhaps).
