Friends, you may not know this about me, but I am a pessimist by heart.
Don’t roll your eyes. I am being totally honest and transparent with you right now. It takes hard work for me to shift my perspective, get my emotions in check, and simply stay positive.
You also may not know that I read the book, “The Secret” what seems like a million years ago now. And let’s just say my first impressions were less than impressionable.
But, it wasn’t until I really started to change my mindset, increase positive thinking, and manifest what I wanted for my life and business that things really started to change.
In this mini episode of The Girl Inspired Project, I share a little bit about my pessimistic journey and how manifestation, mindset, and positive outlook has been a game changer for me.

Do you love dogs? Do you love fashion? Do you love supporting a good cause?
Then the episode of The Girl Inspired Project where I sit down and interview two thirds of Pearls For Pups Co, Jenna and Paige McMakin is just the episode for you.
These gals have the hearts of teachers and have astonished me with their hustle, tenacity, and passion to help homeless dogs. They came up with a business idea and ran with it. And now, to date, they have donated more than $60,000 to shelters and rescues in need and are growing exponentially day by day!

When you look up burn out in the dictionary, you may very well find my photo and name.
I’m not joking. If you don’t know my story, I used to work as a freelance makeup artist. Key word here, dear friends, is used to. I hustled so hard, took on so much, and never defined my success that I kept growing to the point that it was no longer sustainable.
I crashed hard. I burnt out completely. I closed my business. It was an incredibly tough season, and I’m here to tell you —I don’t want you to experience that.
On this, what I consider a very, very important episode, of The Girl Inspired Project, I talk sitting down and defining success in your life and business.
If you take a few moments to truly consider what success looks like your business and life, it will really help you to align your business goals, objectives, and motivations. It can help prevent burn out, saying yes to opportunities that don’t serve your business goals, and more.
